California Transmission Emergency

The California ISO hereby issues a Southern CA Region TRANSMISSION EMERGENCY Notice for loss of a major transmission line within the Southern |portion of the CAISO Control Area effective 12/21/2005 11:36 through 12/21/2005 23:59 based on conditions as of 12/21/2005 11:41.

Reason: Major transmission line forced out of service.

Monitor system conditions on the California ISO Website at www.caiso.com and check with local electric utilities for additional information.

OK, I guess it is time to unplug Southern California once more.

Will somebody please build some more transmission lines in California.

Will somebody please build some more transmission lines in California.

They are building them as fast as they can. Unfortunately they are all being built out of environmental red tape.

I thought she had switched to the gasoline model. It has a 12 1/2 HP Briggs and Stratton engine. Also comes with a kickstart and reverse.

What affect is the Mohave Generation Station turning off New Year's Eve going to have? I understand that is 1.2 million homes worth of power going off line...maybe permanently.

If you can find the money they will build. But if you suggest revenue bonds be prepared to change residence addresses. There will be an expedition mounted immediately, heading north to hunt you down.
