Four years after September 11, 2001, numerous non-Muslim Americans repeatedly ask, “Why do American Muslims stay silent in the face of extremism and terrorism? Why do they not act to cleanse their religion of the reputation it has acquired?”
Paradoxically, Muslims in the US and Great Britain are, today, far more dominated by Islamist extremism than their counterparts in various Muslim countries. In many lands where the majority follows Islam, a struggle is underway between mainstream moderates and radicals inspired by the ultra-Wahhabi preachers of Saudi Arabia, the agitators of the Muslim Brotherhood in various Arab countries, and the virulent and volatile adherents of Pakistani jihadism. In some places, from Bosnia-Hercegovina to Indonesia and from Morocco to Mozambique, the moderates are winning. Yet the Islamic communities of the U.S. (dominated by the Saudis) and Britain (run by radical Pakistanis) suffer under a totalitarian regime of thought-control.

IMHO, they should not be here, in America, because most of them ARE NOT AMERICANS and have no intention of becoming true Americans. They are here to take, take, take like the rest of the hoards of immigrants who come here, and DO NOT ASSIMILATE INTO AMERICA, living in their own little towns and cloisters -- to be apart from America.
Let them take their heritage and culture OUT OF AMERICA and back to where they came from and leave America TO REAL AMERICANS!

Simple answer: They're in agreement with what's going on.
I'll trade Muslims for Mexicans any day. If it were up to me, I would tear down every mosque and get rid of all Muslims.

Our ancestors didn't risk life and limb to come to this country to make a better place for themselves and their families just so a bunch of fanatical camel jockeys could come here and terrorize our women and children and make hamburger out of our families.
The Muslims need to "take out their own trash" or we will continue to do it for them.

What Christian would stay in a church where he was open to physical attacks either to himself or his loved ones?
If Muslims haven't the spine to walk out of a mosque when threatened, and if all they can do is wait for government to save their sorry butts, then why should anyone feel sorry for them?
Islam is the problem. Leaving it is the cure.

Why on earth would you do that? In either case, each group tend to not assimilate fully into our culture, expecting us to adopt theirs.
As far as I'm concerned those that honestly want to become Americans, blending fully into our society are more than welcome to stay here to do just that.
As for the others, they can and should go back to whatever crap-hole country that they came from and stay there. We really don't want or need their ilk here.
What exactly is AMERICAN culture anyway? I thought we had always been a blend of different cultures and that is what made us strong. Am I wrong?

That's why they don't belong here. Those who seek the destruction of a free society are unfit to live in that society.

It should have been obvious that there are many immigrants that do become REAL AMERICANS but there are way too many that do not. As we know which should not require explanation.
The problem is not so much cultural, as it is RELIGIOUS. Islam is incompatible with our society IMHO.
I have a good friend who's an assimilated muslim. She says almost all the mosques in the US are collectives spewing hate.
