I have yet to met a serviceman or woman that does not support the President.

(2006 will be a very good year. Good for what is unknown at the moment.)

I have yet to met a serviceman or woman that does not support the President. Legally yes...but politically, there are many that don't...

AS a caostie, I was told to keep my political views quiet, as our BMC (the Xo on my ship) was a lefty. I was engineering division. 2 strikes already. He was one who would only try to right up sailors for haircut violations after he got his, and we hadn't been granted liberty after 8 weeks at sea.

Unfortunately, I met one last year. He's a senior Army Intelligence Warrant Officer, Russian Linguist (as am I, and I thought we'd at least click on that level: no such luck) doing real-world intel and counter-narcotics work.
I met him at his brother's (my best friend) funeral. He did nothing but rail against the "illegal war" and how "stupid Bush is" and how he couldn't wait until Kerry put him out of office, and how Bill Clinton had done more for the military than both Bushes and Reagan combined.
Having served under all of them plus Carter I knew he was full of sh**, but I was very polite out of respect for my buddies parents and widow.
I was saddened to hear him rant, particularly in light of the fact that his brother (in whose honor we had gathered) was as staunch a Conservative and life-long Republican (not easy for a Northern New Mexico Hispanic), and was truly a great American (ex-Cavalry Scout, Pathfinder, and Nuclear Security expert), and one of the best friends I've ever known (plus, we're both Raiders fans!!).
They're out there, and sooner or later some reporter will find 'em.
