COPENHAGEN - When the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten published 12 cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad, including one in which he is shown wearing a turban shaped as a bomb with a burning fuse, it expected a strong reaction in this country of 5.4 million people.
But the paper was unprepared for the global furor that ensued, including demonstrations in the Indian-controlled part of Kashmir, death threats against the artists, condemnation from 11 Muslim countries and a rebuke from the United Nations.
"The cartoons did nothing that transcends the cultural norms of secular Denmark, and this was not a provocation to insult Muslims," said Flemming Rose, cultural editor of Jyllands-Posten, Denmark's largest newspaper, which has declined to apologize for the drawings.
"But if we talk of freedom of speech, even if it was a provocation, that does not make our right to do it any less legitimate before the law," he added in an interview from Miami. He spent months living under police protection in Denmark.

The moose are always looking for things to be insulted about. I have emailed copies of a couple of the cartoons to Arab Embassies asking if they found them insulting. So far, no responses.

The liberals have some things in common with the Islamo-fascists. Both hate freedom and free speech. One reason why the former have a hard time seriously opposing the latter.

How could anybody who has heard of the name Salman Rushdie possibly have been unprepared for
"the global furor that ensued, including demonstrations in the Indian-controlled part of Kashmir, death threats against the artists, condemnation from 11 Muslim countries and a rebuke from the United Nations"?Does any word roughly equivalent to the English word "tolerance" exist in any language natively spoken in Moslem societies anywhere in the world? Is the concept of tolerance even taught to Muslims anywhere in the world, or is it completely unknown to them? Judging from the childish way that so many of them seem to react, it seems that the answers must be "no" and "no". How else to explain the prevalence of this 'phenomenon'?

"We are being mentally tortured," Imam Ahmed said at his mosque... So leave. Return to wherever you came from. You did not come to Denmark to become Danish. You came to exploit Danish free institutions in an attempt to take over the country. If the Danes were smart, they'd shut down all muslim mosques, round up all the imams and throw them in prison.
To: Pikamax
And pray tell what does this pissant Ahmed mean, being "mentally tortured"? I don't see anyone sawing his sons head off on world wide TV.He should know about being "mentally tortured", he's an expert at it.Is some one rejecting the "religion of peace?" This should prove interesting. During WWII the Danes managed to tie down 5 German divisions through their unwillingness to lay down quietly. It may be that the Danes are every bit as stubborn as the "religion of peace" is for the mentally deficient. That's a damn shame about sonny-boy. I do hope he's not too offended.

The Islamonazi Death Cult of Satan was so offended by Hal Lindsey preaching the current events truth about said Death Cult that they successfully got the Crouch's of TBN to censor and ultimately part ways with Hal Lindsey and his program, International Intelligence Briefing! Fools at TBN.

Hal Lindsey Leaving TBN
Refuses to Compromise to Stay on Air
January 1, 2006
Dear Paul and Jan,
Paul, Jr. relayed your message to me that you are both in agreement on the policy of nothing negative being said on TBN about Muslims. Hearing that you also warned John Haggee, Perry Stone, Jack VanImpe and others of this policy caused me to realize that your are not going to modify your position.
I love and respect you both and know your heart for evangelism of the Muslims. But I don't agree with your reasoning that warning about the dangers of "radical Islam" is a hindrance to the Gospel to all Muslims. The 'Radicals' are intimidating the moderate Muslims -- not to mention their terrible persecution of Arab and Palestinian Christians.
Jesus confronted false religion (which Islam is) by calling them "whitewashed tombstones", "Brood of vipers", and "sons of hell" in Matthew 23.
I am sure of my calling from the LORD. One important part of that calling is to sound a prophetic alarm to America and the world about the dangers of the false religion of Fundamental Islam. It is a "Watchman on the Wall" kind of calling.
In addition, the IIB is a news show from a Christian perspective. It is impossible to report the news without mentioning in a 'negative light' the radical Islamists who are wreaking murder and destruction on the Western world daily. It is truthfully reporting the most relevant news that made IIB one the most popular programs on TBN.
It is also absolutely unacceptable to me to require my script to be submitted for censorship each week and then to learn whether my program will be aired or not. I don't have much money and it costs me a lot out of pocket to produce each show. When it is rejected or pre-empted, it is a big loss for me.
So with regret and grief, I am not returning to TBN. I intend to pursue other avenues of ministry. I thank you for the years of association in the ministry. May God continue to bless you in your pursuit of evangelizing the world.
In Christ's grace,
Hal Lindsey

In 30 years, Europe will be dead. Demography is destiny, just do the math. One baby per European woman, 5 babies per Muslim woman in Europe, plus immigration from North Africa.
In 30 years, Notre Dame Cathedral will be a mosque, its spires minarets.

Leftists have more than a few things in common with Islamofascists. Both hate freedom and freedom of speech. And both hate the United States, hunger for its overthrow, love totalitarianism, are intolerant, and are illiberal. The rhetoric differs, but basically they're the same. If they could sort out a few issues of dogma, they could easily combine. Perhaps they will.

IMHO, the article you provide a link to (by Mark Steyn)should be required reading for everyone in the West. It's long, but every word and thought is worthwhile and shocking. Shows what really matters --- and how unimportant some of the other things we fret about are.

Unless the Criminal Invasion of America is stopped and American Traitors are dealt with, how long do you give America? Or is that the "North American Union"?

Not an unlikely front at all.
Any place where life is half decent is a front.
Wherever there are sewers or outhouses you'll find them.
