You have some good points. As much as a Hollywood is trying to force it down our throats. The biggest weapon we have is our wallets. As of now, the 3 gay movies aren't doing so well financially.

You're right about Hollywood but their audience has been set up for them by previous parents who let the larger culture and schools instill values in their kids.
BTW Brokeback Mountain has more than doubled its production budget at the box office. That makes it a financially successful film.

Listen I am with you. My point I was trying to make was we have lost the fight for TV,Newspaper and music. There is not a place for a descent child to go to. So basically you are saying turn off everything.
Christian children are on MTV,Myspace.com, run around with Ipods listening to crap all day long, as much as the secular kids. We pay $14,000 a year plus taxes to send our kids to a Christian Academy and there is very little difference in the students in the upper grades, thank Goodness academically there is a difference. But hey who is in charge of the home...yup kids. Not the parents they dropped the ball. TAKE BACK THE FAMILY. That needs to be the message this year. Monitor the music, delete is a beautiful thing. My daughter got a cell phone for Christmas, abused it and two weeks later its in Dads hands. My observation is this...
Parents are afraid their kids and friends will not like them or think they are cool. Stop this. You are not the friend, be the parent. We do not watch TV except if acceptable American Idol, and we watch it together.
My daughter talked me into watching the Model show this year and said it wasn't bad, so we watched one episode together and boom...there was a lesbian making a move on the rest of the models. I looked at my daughter... she just said oops, I know lets turn it off. Doesn't take much to embarrass them when you watch with them.
