Strange statement. What was she waiting for? Why didn't she leave years ago?

I think we heard the same statement in New Orleans just a few months ago.

She thought she was special. (There's only one 'special' in that country)

Many hung on in hope, also currency controls are tight so even if you sold your place it would be hard to get your money out, even illegally, who wants Zim dollars ?
