I do think those comments were in bad taste. Laughing about individuals dying while on a holy (to them) pilgrimmage is not exactly my idea of humor. There is enough in Islam to legitimately make fun of, and war against, that we don't need to waste time with this kind of crap.

Anyone who listens to Handel will be offended eventually, because that is what he does best. His approach to the law is hilarious, and his program consists of satire at its best.
If CAIR took him seriously, they are more stupid than previously thought.

Handel makes his living from being in bad taste. He really does offend all around pretty equally. He makes off-color remarks about Jews (his own religion), blacks, Arabs, Hispanics (he was born in S. America), and he rips his wife a new one almost daily. But all his remarks are very superficial. In life he is a very generous and loving guy with great morals.

He is basically conservative with a few liberal ideas thrown in (national health care and gay marriage). He is a very hard worker with several full-time jobs, and he won the local Marconi this last year. He's obnoxious but has great in-depth reporting on stories that really matter. I don't always listen to him but I'm never sorry when I do. I've met him and we had a great conversation.

Mocking muslims self-destructing during a Lemming-esque STAMPEDE is deserved no matter the "bad taste". Let's focus on reality and the truth of the matter, and not on delusional and politically-correct retractions serving terrorist muslims. Muslim/Islamics are dangerously weird, truth is...
