I do think those comments were in bad taste. Laughing about individuals dying while on a holy (to them) pilgrimmage is not exactly my idea of humor. There is enough in Islam to legitimately make fun of, and war against, that we don't need to waste time with this kind of crap.
Anyone who listens to Handel will be offended eventually, because that is what he does best. His approach to the law is hilarious, and his program consists of satire at its best.

He is basically conservative with a few liberal ideas thrown in (national health care and gay marriage). He is a very hard worker with several full-time jobs, and he won the local Marconi this last year. He's obnoxious but has great in-depth reporting on stories that really matter. I don't always listen to him but I'm never sorry when I do. I've met him and we had a great conversation.
