I just heard on the news that Mrs. Coretta King has died. Just my personal opinion, but she was a dignified, classy woman who served her country and her late husband's memory quite well.
Mea Culpa for not posting a source (which was my little radio), for not making any more comments about Mrs. King.
Just my thought at the time that this country had just lost someone who always appeared to show great dignity, under the most stressful circumstances. May the Lord have her soul safely out of harm now.

The world has lost a great woman today. With her life she has made the world a better place. My prayers go out to her family.

Wow. I remember that picture from when I was a child and I didn't know who she was. I pray that she is enjoying her reuninon with her husband and God.

Served 'her country' exactly how? "husband's memory" = marketing rights and copyrighting his image and every word he spoke, do you mean?

Okay, what is your problem with Mrs. King? No matter how her husband comported himself, one only had to look and listen to her to see "evidence" of her dignity and grace. If you couldn't see it , its because you are selectively blind. I would at least think, you could find some respect for her in your heart and respect that her children will miss her.
She is finally reunited with her husband, who was taken from her way too soon.
