Thanks for a very informative post. It looks like Iran has a lot of work to do to have a reliable missle force.

Thanks for a very informative post.

You're quite welcome!  I'm delighted that you liked it   :-)

It looks like Iran has a lot of work to do to have a reliable missle force.

I sincerely hope that you are correct but I would urge caution in this area....the 'failed' tests mentioned in my previous posts occurred four or more years ago.  A great deal can happen during that time, particularly when you are dealing with an utterly insane regime with an unlimited amount of money, numerous eager international suppliers, a seething, visceral hatred of anyone who doesn't think in exactly the same fevered way that they do and the expertise of many rocket scientists from which to draw technical assistance.  We also have not been told what the exact nature of the 'failure' was......it didn't quite make it to Tel Aviv?  An obvious operator error?  A minor malfunction that has since been corrected?

Again, I sincerely hope that you are right but I don't see in Iran a regime that is interested in moderation and interacting in a courteous manner with it's neighbors.  I see a bunch of hysterical nutcases who will be overjoyed at the opportunity to push that flashing 'launch' button at the earliest opportunity, regardless of whether every single one of the items on the manufacturer's pre-launch checklist are  marked or not..

May God help us all.
