That's a heck of a vetting process we have going on at the moment. We nominate Ms Smith off the street for the Supreme Court and appoint lying college drop-outs for heading up positions in NASA. Whoever came up with the vetting process for nominations and appointees needs to be fired and replaced with someone who actually does more than 5 minutes of research and investigating before advising the President.
Yes, and maybe the President should think for more than 5 seconds before appointing the people who make recommend these Republican Party activist college dropouts for prominent positions in NASA and other government agencies.

Does anyone know (1) if Bush personally had anything to do with this appointment; or (2) what this guy's role actually was? Was he upper-level, mid-level, low-level? How prominent was his position at NASA?
