Poland is the cheapest country in the region after Ukraine according to research
From Poland A.M.
According to research carried out by financial group ING, Poland is the cheapest country, after Ukraine, in our region.
The research was conducted by examining the prices of a basket of goods in different cities across the whole world. In the third quarter of last year, prices in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia were more or less equal. " Now, the situation has changed. The zloty has remained in the background in terms of appreciation in relation to other currencies in the region. Besides, the inflation rate in Poland is very low. As a result, Poland became the cheapest country," said Mateusz Szczurek, chief economist with ING Bank l¹ski. Additionally, the zloty can still gain in strength, reaching an exchange rate with the Euro of z³.3.5. "The largest potential is in mortgage loans. Today, the value of mortgage debt in Poland is 6% of GDP. Meanwhile, in Ireland or Portugal it is in excess of 50%. Calculating this per capita, in Poland it amounts to EUR280, while the average in the EU is EUR12,000," said ING BSK analyst Bartosz Paw³owski,. (Puls Biznesu, p. 6 ; Parkiet, p.8) A.K.
A totally appropriate picture for a totally inappropiate title ;^)
Perhaps we can expect an ING Poland Fund (like the ING Russia Fund) in the near future.
Did they ALL just wither up and die... or are they still in the country??
I know that at least SOME of them must be still alive and MAYBE even in positions of power in some parts of the country.
I know there MUST be some who are now professing capitalists or freedom lovers.
Pray tell, ole lizol... where ARE they, old man???
Oh, never mind... you probably think THERE WERE NEVER ANY COMMUNIST POLES!!
And how it is related to this article?
Nope no Poles are communists, just like none of them work for CES and none of them support George Soros.
