France secretly upgrades capacity of nuclear arsenal

· Modification increases range of missiles
· Altitude bomb to knock out electronic systems

The Guardian (UK)

France has secretly modified its nuclear arsenal to increase the strike range and accuracy of its weapons.

The move comes weeks after President Jacques Chirac warned that states which threatened the country could face the "ultimate warning" of a nuclear retaliation.

A military source quoted yesterday by the Libération newspaper claimed France had tinkered with its nuclear weapons to improve their strike capability and make this threat more credible.

The source said there had been two major changes: the bombs can now be fired at high altitude to create an "electromagnetic impulsion" to destroy the enemy's computer and communications systems; and the number of nuclear warheads has been reduced to increase the missiles' range and precision.

Great. So when the Muslims take over they'll have more advanced weaponry.

All the weapons in the world will do no good if you don't have the will to defend yourself.

Can we attack France, now?

I heard they got some new tanks as well. 5-speeds, 4 in reverse, and 1 forward in case the enemy attacks from the rear.

The French had a tank at the start of WWII that had twice as much armor in the rear as it did on the front.

I think France is trying to say they have no intension of making even the pretense of a conventional retaliation.

They do not intend to put their soldiers in harms way. They will just jump straight to the nuclear option.

My suggestion is that they increase the security of their nuclear arsenal. They are surrounded by Islamicists.

This is not good news, this new EMP capacity is only good against us. France is going to join Russia in the Islam/Nazi camp, just like WWII. We should not fight again for france, they have never been on our side

Yes, I can see that. But what are they planning to do about the increasingly assertive 10,000,000 Muslims in France?

One minute France is Dr. Appeasement of the Universe; next minute they are threatening to Nuke the Middle East. They are scarey. I really think the grand appeasement when they melted down in protest over the war had to do with oil for food and their fear of the US finding out what they were up to at the UN and in Iraq.

Plans we don’t need no stinking plans!

I think that soon enough the Muslim hordes will wear out their welcome.

How long will the Europeans tolerate the Muslims disrespect and violence to European culture and law?

I can not imagine that any people (no matter how self deluded with liberal self hypnosis) can long tolerate the present Muslim childish temper tantrums.

The European general population will soon loose their patients with the Political Classes inaction and force action from talking heads.

What other choice do they have? Well except the French, who will most likely follow their cultures tradition of capitulation when confronted with a superior force (or a inferior force for that matter).
