i wonder if the family has even had a choice in this. was there ever any hope of him not being a vegatable at best? i cannot believe he would not have wanted to be allowed to die after the brain damage he had. i wonder if he had expressed wishes on this which were ignored for political motives.

After the initial descriptions of the extent of the damage caused by the strokes, I've never expected him to reawaken, must less recover.

I am annoyed that the reporter kept writing of digestive "track" rather than "tract"....when one makes such an elementary error, I always wonder what else he got wrong.

By all indications there was no hope only a prolonged death.
