Does anyone agree that Splenda tastes best? My only complaint with it is that it tastes too sweet. But no bad after taste.

If they phase out Diet Coke for Coke Zero it will cure my diet drink addiction fast. I can't abide Coke Zero.

I use Splenda. It is indistinguishable from sugar.

I like Splenda a lot. It is pretty sweet, but that just means you don't have to use so much. I'm trying to reduce the amount I use in my coffee, and I'm down to less than a whole packet in my 16 oz. mug! I like yogurt, but don't want the sugar in the sweetened kind, so I get plain, low-fat and add my own Splenda.
Hubby has started using it as well, and doesn't mind the taste. We found that there is a Diet Coke with Splenda, and it tastes pretty good, so he drinks that at work sometimes. Breyers also makes Splenda sweetened ice cream that's mighty tasty.

Splenda is dangerous too. Research on the internet. Causes enlargement of the kidneys and shrinkage of the thymus gland

I think its flavor is a little better than aspartame, but not much. The really good thing about Spelnda is that it readily dissolves in iced tea while the tea is brewing in a Mr. Coffee automatic iced tea maker, while, although the aspartame dissolves, its sweetness often doesn't seem to become apparent until the tea's sat around for a day or two.

In general, I use about 1/3 less Splenda than I would use sugar. (For thickening, you need to add something like xantham gum anyway, so proportions don't throw off recipes that much.)
