I really have to wonder what the press think they are gaining from the Cheney accident. Anyone who can step back for a moment and do a reality check can only see how this is going to further make the press look like craven fools. I remember when Vince Foster killed himself and I just don't remember a tenth of this kind of scrutiny. Maybe time has a way of dulling memories but this is just an example of how a left leaning press and desperate democrats are grasping at every straw no matter how small. I can only hope they keep it up. The VP's popularity may actually begin to rise.
