Wilson's shelling of Vera Cruz wasn't too good of an idea. It was at least as bad as the Iran-Contra affair; Wilson's actions didn't have any upside at all, even in the short term.

Wilson's intervention at Vera Cruz was stupid, but may have contributed to the downfall of Gen. Huerta, which was a positive development. His sending Gen. Pershing to try to capture Pancho Villa, on the other hand, was a complete fiasco...but without it there may never have been "The Ballad of Pancho and Lefty."

IMHO, Neither was striking ART.1 SEC.8 from the Constitution with the installation of the Federal Reserve...but that bit of history hasn't fully played out yet.. P.S....Interesting handle Doc...Are the stochastic indicators suggesting a buy of Greywolf (GW)now?
