This is particular great news for me...I have a pet mouse with Alzheimers.
No, seriously, this is big news. My grandmother had Alzheimers (and my mother was her caretaker)...overcoming Alzheimers is a big deal for millions of people.

My mother has Alzheimer's and I'm her caretaker. I'm still able to work but it's close to the point where I'll have to quit. I'm trying to save as much as I can to stay home with her.
She has other serious medical problems and the Alzheimer's is just starting to advance but it's definitely the worst of her problems. Strictly physical ailments are easier to deal with.
