My mother had Alzheimers...my dad took care of her, while he was able to...after he died from cancer, I brought mom to my home, and cared for her there for the few years she had left, until she died...

Thanks...I do believe, that those who take care their aging parents, especially those with Alzheimers, do find themselves blessed by God, in that we learn a mighty powerful lesson in life...that caring for the sick, the ill, the dying, is its own reward...it teaches us patience, empathy, and humility...our parents are able to remain at home, in comfort, with loving family around...and the caretakers are able to know, that they gave of themselves for others...its a powerful experience...
