Europeans are rarely welcoming to outsiders, even when the outsiders are blond and blue-eyed and come from the country next door. When the outsiders are un-European, swarthy and Muslim, they are tolerated at best. When some Muslims also insist that Europeans stop acting like Europeans, on pain of death, European tolerance comes to an end.
In the clash of cultures between secular Europeans and extremist Muslims, there can ultimately be no compatibility or compromise, only loss by one side or the other of the absolute values it holds dear. European capitulation on European soil, where they remain the dominant majority, is unlikely: Europeans revel in their liberty to mock religion, to poke fun at sacred cows, to be outrageous, even to offend.

Pigs are flying. Global warming is causing Hell to become colder and colder, and the pigs that live there are unable to handle the change, so they are migrating out of hell. By flying. Amazing article and, if the facts quoted are correct, an amazing response by the native Europeans. If published in the US, the article would definitely be labeled as not politically correct if not shunned altogether by the mainstream press except for internet blogs.

Though it still seems to be a popular topic that maybe not all saw before.
This isn't a strength, but rather a weakness. Frankly, if the Europeans still followed the religion (Christianity) that was the bedrock of their civilization instead of gleefully junking it like a bunch of spoiled brats, they wouldn't be in this predicament to begin with. Nihilistic, self-loathing, childless cultures are not well-equipped to fight militant Islamic ones.
Look at the apparent easy with which the European countries cited in the article have changed their immigration laws. Compare to here where a pedestrian jaywalking can be easily made into a Constitutional issue tying up courts all the way up to the Supremes. And what's worse, we like it this way.
In the meantime the US allows the UAE to take charge or our ports. ;)
wow...What a great article. I read the whole thing...it shocked me. The europeans may be doing the same behavior that the Pakistani Musharef is doing. Publically saying " we shouldn't insult anyone" but behind the scenes, angry , and dealing with the problem.
My observation was that this paper is more of a financial conservative paper in Canada, perhaps like the wall ST Journal here. Also it will be interesting to see if Europe overcompensates with the Muslim "problem" and results in fascist states as the Nazis in the 30's.

Not to go off topic, but has ANYONE considered that global warming is coming from the inside of the Earth's core out? Nothing being caused by any human. Sun is a part of it.
