Clinton: Secrecy Sparked Shooting Reaction

Former President Clinton said Sunday the Bush administration's "enormous penchant for secrecy" sparked the strong reaction to Vice President Dick Cheney's shooting mishap.

"We have people quite often who are shot in quail incidents, so I didn't feel the need to get into the pile-on," Clinton said Sunday on ABC's "Good Morning America."

Cheney has been criticized for not disclosing the shooting on Feb. 11 of Texas lawyer Harry Whittington until the following day.

"I think the White House should have said something about it sooner," Clinton said. "I think that it's gotten a little more light than it would have because the administration has an enormous penchant for secrecy for not telling anybody anything about anything."

The shooting had little impact on public opinion about the job done by Cheney, which was already low. A Time magazine poll found 29 percent of those surveyed approve of the job done by Cheney, close to the 32 percent approval for the vice president in November.

The Bush family would do well to stay away from both of them.

Amen! Amen! As I have said countless times on this forum, Bush, pere et fils, think that they can have a good influence on I-x42, when, in fact, each time one of them is seen with that low-life, it diminishes them.

It is frightening that the level of understanding of the mass public seems to be Clinton's only crime was gettin' busy with an intern. His 8 years in office created threats to this nation we are only now becoming painfully aware of. I am beginning to believe that he was not only selfish and pathological, but, where I used to believe he was an ignorant fool I now think he actually wanted to destroy America, as it stands, and usher in an age of "Amerika" as a communist paradise by whatever means necessary. Perhaps I'm late to reach this conclusion, but it's hard for me to think the worst of people. Often to my own detriment.

I refuse to hear the words of Slick Willy.

If his image appears on tv, I either change the channel or turn away from the screen, tell the husband to let me know when it's gone. I amaze myself with the intensity of the hatred I have for that piece of...well, clinton, while there is no other human being that I hate!

His servants in the MSM did an outstanding job of fixing this in the public imagination, didn't they?

"We have people quite often who are shot in quail incidents, so I didn't feel the need to get into the pile-on," Clinton said Sunday on ABC's "Good Morning America."

Then he proceeded to pile on anyway?

The media made a mountain out of a molehill in this instance, they just don't want to admit it.

Good questions! He also needs to explain how the missing documents got into the library of the family's WH living quarters', and just happened to have Hillary's fingerprints on them?

If they had done DNA testing when Juanita Broaddrick accused him of biting her lip while raping her, what would the DNA have proved?

When traveling, your wife always had in her possession a plastic storage box approx 24"x18" containing something veeeeeeeeery secret which never ever left her side. What was in it and how long did that take to become public knowledge? Oh yeah, when Col. Buzz Patterson wrote his book, Dereliction of Duty.

I hadn't heard about this before. You've got me curious. Could you give more detail or provide a link?

"...I now think he actually wanted to destroy America, as it stands, and usher in an age of "Amerika" as a communist paradise by whatever means necessary."

That's been my opinion all along. I remember my very first reaction when I heard about 9/11; "one year too late".

Seems Bill was setting everything up for such a crisis so he could declare martial law. Clinton could also have raised all the illegal campaign cash necessary from the drug cartels. So, why the Chinese communists instead?

Yes. All signs point to his desire to communize America. If it quacks like a duck...

Bill Clinton is a shining example of why certain people should not breed. And, why birth control is essential to the survival of the human race.

It's in the book Dereliction of Duty, by Col Buzz Patterson (USAF ret.). He was one of the servicemen who carried the nuclear football wherever Willard went.

Hillary's 'plastic box of secrets' was part of a retelling of a trip on Marine One. Basically she would let no one touch it - even though she treated the WH Military Aides as butlers, valets and luggage jockeys, and that it never, ever left her side.

The local library should have the book.

And when done reading it for one you'll see there was more reasons than just perjury to impeach his sorry behind (he really did lose the launch codes). Secondly they both do loathe the military, especially Hitlery.

Any speculation as to what it contained.

He and his co-president did not belong to the ABA when they first ran for the presidency. They were card carrying members of the aclu, a truly communist organization. They make no bones of their re-making America into Amerika, look at the laws they have changed and the Christian organizations they have destroyed or tried to destroy.

Well... the box thing was during the same time she had the 900+ FBI Files. So that seems like the logical contents.

Then again, with that evil beast, who knows.. it could be all the contracts she had from buying peoples souls.

If there is an Anti-Christ, she is 'it'.
