Katharine Armstrong initially told a Texas reporter that there had been "zero, zippo" drinking that Saturday. But Cheney later said on Fox News that he had had "a beer" at lunch.A beer. At lunch.
Oh.
My.
God.
The nation will be shaken, I say SHAKEN to its foundations as a result of this unbelievable, unimaginable, horrifying Constitutional crisis!

Might Cheney have had a beer in his own cabin prior or immediately after lunch with the other guests?

Don't you like the italics around a beer? I guess they just want everybody to know it was a "direct quote."

A beer. At lunch. The larger question is, why wasn't the Washington press corp, and specifically, David Gregory, notified that Cheney was having a beer at lunch, at the time!!
