The other three were charged with adultery, underage drinking and drinking while driving. They were demoted to private, confined to barracks for 45 days, order to perform 45 days of extra duty and forfeit half their pay for two months.
Frankly, imho, they should not be allowed to remain in our U.S. Army. I may be lumping them all together but the behavior of all them is really not the kind of folks I would like serving along side my beloved or anyone's beloved for that matter.
Consider what Gen. George S. Patton would do to them.
Always wanted to ask this of someone who has served in the military, FMC...
Given the infection rate of AIDS (blood transfusions), or tuberculosis (casual contact), or hepatitis (casual contact), hasn't ANYONE in the brass reconsidered the "don't ask, don't tell" for the possible effects on unit health?
Cheers!
Agreed. It seems that not all progress is good. I have tremendous respect for our military, but many of the changes since the infamous "Tailhook" have led to a host of problems, this being one. Get them out now!
