Ex-Taliban can learn from Yale experience

Isn't it nice to know that some hard working American student can't go to Yale because his or her spot was filled by a member of the Taliban?

Just think what Monster Arafat could have learned at Yale. I am saddened by his inability to attend.

A misnomer. The only reason he's "ex-Taliban" is because the US obliterated the Taliban. He's not reformed.

You can take the hanky head out of the Islamo-fascist country, but you can't....

I hope he wipes himself with something other than his hand, because he could be a public health hazard.

Good article. The imbeciles running Yale seem to not have noticed that many, maybe most, Muslim terrorists were educated in the West. It did not slacken their desire to kill us all. It is a complete disgrace that this man was given a visa to come to this country. I don't know the student who went to Harvard was, was he a terrorist too?

This Taliban should have his visa revoked and be shipped back to Afghanistan to face prison time immediately.

The unasked question, unasked even by John Fund in his Opinion Journal piece on this subject: WHO IS PAYING HIS TUITION?

Someone ought to investigate the admission criteria at Yale. Did they know who this guy was when they admitted him? Did his background play a role in getting him admitted?

Is Yale giving preference to Talibanis over Americans? Who's paying the $45,000 a year it costs just for tuition, not to mention living expenses?

I hope it's not me.

They seem to have grown feted with amateur America-Haters.

Yale University...

Ex-Taliban spokesman is accepted as a student. ROTC is barred from the campus. Tells me all I need to know about Yale.

Several years ago, this idiot did a mini speaking tour, before 9/11.

Several of my friends went to a conferance where he spoke and then answered questions.

At best, regardless of his beliefs, he was semi-literate, out of his league, and not educated at all.

He was ripped by everyone (including the liberals there, and even some muslims who thought he was an imposter or fraud).

Including his religious beliefs, he was unable to or could not recall certain islamic beliefs.

In other words, Yale accepted an uneducated, idiot whose only claim to fame is that he was (at best) a lackey for a brutal regime or at worse, an actuall terrorist himself (and in both cases, wasn't very good at his job).

I'm shaking my head right now.
