DFU SONG: I Dreamed a Dream (Ruthie Bader Ginsburg falls asleep while hearing arguments)
DFU SONGS | 2-2006 | Lyrics, Doug from Upland

MIDI - I DREAMED A DREAM - 2nd version

She had a dream while on the bench...goodness, they all watched Ruthie drooling
Listening to those arguments...for her that must be really grueling

And then they all had heard her snore...it was a moment we should treasure
We know the Coke can guy had laughed...for him it really seemed a pleasure

Now the time perhaps is here...it is time that she retires
To the left it will bring fear...you are gonna hear them scream, scream, scream, scream, scream

She had a dream while lawyers dueled...she saw a world without right wingers
Ruthie's an ACLU fool...let us bid her a fond farewell

Age of consent should be 14...that is something she's advocated
That she's a leftist whackjob nut...come on, that cannot be debated

Clinton appointed her, of course...I don't think that is too surprising
He's like the back end of horse...I'd love a court that's 6 to 3

Leftist judges don't need to hear the facts of a case to render a ruling; one needs only look at some of their rulings to prove that.

Now the time perhaps is here...

The time is here for term limits. Justices should be retired after twelve years on the bench.

If she ever croaks in public, she better hope there is a blind guy that knows CPR nearby. The EMT"S will be rolling the dice to see who has to do the deed. I doubt old Howie Dean would attempt it. He would say "the SCOTUS anint that big a deal, AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!".

Ginsburg vs. Mother’s Day, the TKO
[Edward Whelan 06/08 04:09 PM]

Attention, Al Franken:

I am pleased to report that I have posted on the website of the Ethics and Public Policy Center a PDF version of the source setting forth the extremist views of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the “Report of Columbia Law School Equal Rights Advocacy Project: The Legal Status of Women under Federal Law,” co-authored by Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Brenda Feigen Fasteau in September 1974.

I have separately posted PDF versions of certain specific pages as well as the report’s cover page. Links to all of these pages and to the entire report can be found here. (Warning: Downloading the entire document will take a long time.)

The document includes the following propositions:

“Prostitution, as a consensual act between adults, is arguably within the zone of privacy protected by recent constitutional decisions.” [72]

A statutory restriction on political rights of bigamists “is of questionable constitutionality since it appears to encroach impermissibly upon private relationships.” [190-191]

“Sex-segregated adult or juvenile institutions are obviously separate and in a variety of ways, unequal. . . . If the grand design of such institutions is to prepare inmates for return to the community as persons equipped to benefit from and contribute to civil society, then perpetuation of single-sex institutions should be rejected.” [75]

“The Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts, while ostensibly providing ‘separate but equal’ benefits to both sexes, perpetuate stereotyped sex roles to the extent that they carry out congressionally-mandated purposes.” [131]

“Replacing ‘Mother’s Day’ and ‘Father’s Day’ with a ‘Parents’ Day’ should be considered, as an observance more consistent with a policy of minimizing traditional sex-based differences in parental roles.” [133]

Other nuggets abound. For example, Ginsburg recommended that the age of consent for purposes of statutory rape be lowered from 16 to 12. [See pages 69-71 and the specific recommendation regarding 18 U.S.C. § 2032 on page 76.]

I demand the immediate resignation of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg from the United States Supreme Court due to her abdication of her Constitutional Duties.

I also Demand that every congressional committee put aside every piece of important legislation and halt all current proceedings and investigate this unconstitutional dereliction of duty on the part of the Supreme Court Justice.

I also demand that the executive branch appoint an independent investigator to investigate this.

I also demand that she be remanded from rendering any vote or opinion on the case in which she fell asleep.

For all of the above, I still demand that she tender her resignation immediately regardless of the reports of any of the investigations!!

(The above is an example of what the reaction around the nation would be if Ruth Bader Ginsburg were a "Conservative" Justice)

Snorer in the court? Ruth Bader Ginsburg snoozes
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | March 1, 2006

Justice dozes off during political redistricting hearing, colleagues let her sleep

Was it a case of dreaming of a better America, napping on the job, or just being asleep at the switch?

Serving on the highest court in the land is apparently a tiring affair for at least one Supreme Court justice who caught 40 winks on the bench, literally.

According to the Associated Press, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg snoozed during testimony today over political redistricting in Texas.

"The subject matter was extremely technical," notes AP writer Gina Holland, "and near the end of the argument Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg dozed in her chair."

During a report by Megyn Kendall of Fox News, an artist's sketch of the hearing was aired with Ginsburg's head using the bench as a pillow.

There was no word if there was any audible snoring echoing through the esteemed chamber, but the sleep session was noticed by Bader's colleagues who made a snap judgment to let their associate continue her slumber.

"Justices David Souter and Samuel Alito, who flank the 72-year-old, looked at her but did not give her a nudge," writes Holland.
