An Acadiana mother has a message for anti-war protestors. She wants them to stop profiting from the death of her son. And, it's a fight she's hoping to take to Washington, D.C.
The mother of a Marine killed-in-action tells how she hopes to protect her son's name.
Yvette Burridge has been spending every free moment on the internet, fuming over one site in particular - carryabigsticker.com, which promotes and sells anti-war and anti-President Bush paraphernalia.
Why is she angry? Burridge's son, Marine Private First Class David Paul Burridge was killed in Iraq in 2004 when a suicide bomber attacked his convoy.
Now, his name and the names of other fallen military personnel are listed on anti-war stickers and t-shirts, all of which read, "Bush lied, they died."

Yet those same anti war whack jobs would be appalled if we printed twin tower shirts that said something negative about muslims...
let's see:
muslims fly, people die... catchy.
Don't get me wrong, I only want our troops to kill the muslims that want to kill us. It just so happens that that's all of them.

I feel for this mom I really do. But legislation like this is going to be struck down by the courts so fast it wont even be funny. I am not even sure how you can make such a law Constitutional. Could you mention their name on your web site? What if you did and you had a pen pal thing for donations. Would historians have to get family permission before listing these names in their books? Its good she is fighting back though against the anti war crowd

"Dan Frazier says his intention is not to be disrespectful to any of the fallen soldiers, and he is sorry some families feel that he is."Ahh, the old "I didn't mean to do it" defense. This scum claims that his intentions are good, yet he scoffs at and/or ignores grieving parents. I am sickened.

Thanks for the ping. I sent a frank, yet totally civil, e-mail to this scuzz. Hoping that others will do the same.

This is the typical coward who has never earned the right to protest anything. He has this right because of those who have served and died. He is out for a buck and his moment in the slime light.
