1) Bush will be Impeached
2) Higher Taxes, linked to massive NEW domestic spending
3) Pull troops out of Iraq, then Afghanistan (Fortress Amerika)
4) Hillarycare
5) 2nd Amendment redefined (see #5 below)
6) Liberal judges placed on Conservative district benches
7) Return of the "Great Society"
8) Socialism, Isolationism, Defeatism
9) Gay marriage will be Federally approved
10) Unionized/Nationalized industries such as ports, air travel... WalMart will be attacked until defeat is certain. Increased government interference in Small Business.
11) Mandated hybrid autos, coupled with unreal CAFE standards, Windfall Profits tax on fossil fuel, massive subsidy to ethanol etc. Gas will be at record highs.
12) History shows by this time we will be facing and "Old Time World War). History is our friend.

If republicans would simply try to be conservative they'll win - that's really the only hope.

That the democrats will continue to be incompetent is a false hope, one that puts the onus on things that we, as republicans cannot control.

So if the democrats win in 06/08 and any items on your laundry list of doom occur, it won't be because of conservatives (who know the formula for sustained political success)

It's the folks who think conservatism can be successfully compromised (GWB foremost among them) for sustained political gain that will have lost.

I highly doubt any of that would happen except for higher taxes.

You are onto it. We are facing a full court press to keep our voters from showing up. The Dems aren't going to run on an impeach Bush ticket, but that's their desire. That's what they did to Reagan after re-taking the senate in 1986. They shot down Bork and stopped the country for daily Iran-Contra hearings they hoped would lead to impeachment.

Both sides of this port deal need to stop it and drop it. We won, okay...Great. Good. Wonderful. But this president is certainly worth defending and fighting for despite his mistakes. The list you provided is the tip of the iceberg if the Dems get back in power with their mitts on our money.
