Anti-Abortion Advocates? Bring 'Em On, Texan Says -Planned Parenthood faces Roe v. Wade challenge
New York Times ^ | Published: March 10, 2006 | By ROBIN FINN

CECILE RICHARDS, the new and instantly embattled president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, would like those retro "folks" — her word — intent on knocking her organization, and the entire abortion rights movement, off the map to know she takes after her maternal grandmother

That would be the tall, whip-thin woman who, nine-months pregnant and bedridden, took a timeout from home-birthing a future governor of Texas — Ms. Richards's mother, Ann — to wring the neck of the chicken her family was having for dinner. Plucky.

"I love the idea of that story, and I'm sure it's true," says Ms. Richards, a 5-foot-10 (not counting high heels) antithesis of a shrinking violet. She's got magnetism and works it. It's all in the drawl.

"I love the idea of that story...", never heard any pro-abort say that about the taking of a life.

Maybe this could be a new technique for partial birth abortion. Strangulation.

The associations are certainly eerie. Does anyone know what percentage of abortions are ACTUALLY done due to rape/incest/health of mother? Probably like .05%...?

Incest is a crime.

Even between consenting adults (and shortly after the Supreme Court decision on sodomy such a case was prosecuted in California between non-related brother and sister, I think at least one was adopted).

The left has used incest as one of the reasons that parents should not be notified of a daughter seeking an abortion. That defense makes no sense as it shields an abuser from prosecution and destroys the evidence.

BTW, there are STILL back alley abortions (they never were carried out in alleys) and women still are injured or even dying from having the procedure done in licensed offices.

True to the baby killers, wringing a chicken's neck or murdering the unborn, big difference? To them, not, its all just tissue.

I seriously doubt that laws banning incest between consenting adults would hold up to a court challenge. It certainly doesn't make much sense in light of the sodomy rulings.

Personally, I couldn't give a crap less if a brother/sister father/daughter son/mother or whatever wants to sleep with each other as long as they don't ask for any special favors for it.

I couldn't find the California case I read on FR shortly after the Lawrence v. Texas decision but I did find these relevant articles:

Perhaps her mothers' cancer will cause her to pause and question the true value of human life. I cannot understand how any mother could be pro-abortion.

Yes indeed, it sounds like every time a baby is murdered in the womb by an abortionist, Cecile Richards has an orgasm.

In which case the b*tch must be in continuous ecstasy.

Its a good morning when the New York Times prints a public relations piece on the new head of Planned Parenthood. That means only one thing: the abortion industry has fallen on hard times. And these people are backing up each other's delusions. What a wonderful time to be a conservative in America.

I'm just trying to imagine if abortions were limited to rape or incest, how many women would claim rape vs. how many would claim incest with their brother, uncle, dad, or cousin.

Look for a spike in the number of reported rapes with "unknown" assailants!

Look for provocative articles in Cosmo such as: "Needing an Abortion? Avoiding Social Stigma by claiming Rape, not Incest"
