Police were called to the neighborhood for a domestic violence incident.
They were in the process of interviewing the neighbors and spotted my acquaintance in the situation I described.
Arrested, charged, prosecuted, convicted and sentenced. And yes, he had a lawyer.

Agreed. How about this as a point of departure for our wonderful legislators: Falling down drunk inside the establishment is OK. Falling down drunk outside the establishment is OK, unless you meet the standard for disorderly conduct. Then call it drunk and disorderly.
*NO* tolerance for DUI/DWI.
I'm OK with drinking, I'm no teetotaler myself. But considering the potential for changing somebody else's life, I think people need to be held accountable.
I just saw on the crawl on TV that they're pulling this stunt in New York, too. It's spreading.
With the Bloominidiot at the helm - I'm surprised it didn't happen there first.
Point taken. 8^D My guess would have been New Jersey, though-king of the bull$hit law states.
