Building prisons is good for the economy. There is a entire industry building private ones. It gives the community the opportunity to have an employer hiring folks that are "LEO wannabies" a chance.

Now in Texas we have enough prisons, state and private, the problem is keeping them full.

We have almost as many people in prison in this country as do China and Russia combined; and not near the population.
