The gov't agencies which originally approved the permit should pay all costs since they're the ones that screwed up..to have these people do everything right and then STILL lose everything because of beaurocracy makes me sick..

In this area--700k is not rich -- it's probably right above the median. Every time we turn around in this area the houses are being assessed for outrageous amounts. We live in an far out-lieing county from DC and our home is worth almost 600K. I am a teacher and my husband is a govt troll-- hardly 2 high-paying jobs
I love the folks around here who complained that the new half-million-dollar mansions going in were "row-homes" that had to be stopped so they wouldn't "lower the property value" in the area, and how they are proud to support "low-income housing" that has the least-expensive unit at $220,000...and then complain when the only ones who can afford them are groups of illegal aliens who share the places and trash them.
