And as far as the U.S. effort is concerned, it seems there is almost nothing the White House, the Pentagon, or for that matter any American rifleman on the ground can do that is good enough to garner so much as a one-line "attaboy" from many of our countrys largest newspapers and television news networks.
Lets look at last Thursday, March 16, the day the Iraqi National Assembly opened in Baghdad and a high-profile "air assault" northeast of Samarra, as an example:

Good article!
Bottom line: If the CIC was a democRAT they'd nearly all be chatting up what a cool dude he is, and never mind the interns. It's all about power and let us handle the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Sadly, as far as the MSM, bad news is good news, good news is not news worthy.
Specially for the Bush Administration.
Three years after in invasion there are worldwide demonstrations (200 demonstrators in NYC - abysmal showing and mostly out of towners )for the immediate withdraw of troops,
whereas six years after 9-11 in NYC, there is a hole where the trade center once stood.

Following remarks by the authors, a panel of experts on foreign affairs commented on the book.
Panelists included: Kurt Campbell, senior vice president and director of International Security Program at CSIS; Ambassador Dennis Ross, former U.S. envoy to the Middle East, 1988-2000; Richard Falkenrath, former deputy assistant to the president and deputy homeland security adviser; and Michael O'Hanlon, senior fellow in Foreign Policy Studies at the Brookings Institution.
No doubt the the fourth estate is a fifth column
There was a thread here a while back asking FReepers what they thought was the most significant event in 2005. Some said Katrina... the confirmation of Roberts... etc.
For some reason... I chose the December election in Iraq. To me, nothing is more critical than keeping Iraq out of the grip of the Islamo-nazi's.
I started watching a DVD of the first 26 episodes of Victory at Sea over the weekend. That's the TV series that ran in the 50s and (maybe) into the early 60s that was compiled from war footage and went through the history of WWII, primarily from the sea war perspective.
Contrast that with today, when the MSM has placed a ban on showing any 9/11 footage.
How times have changed.
Great article SuziQ.
I also heard reported that they found 600 false IDs.
Great article. Thanks for posting. The MSM propagandists are dying. New Media bump!
So what should our attitude be? Let me paraphrase Al Pacino in Scarface...
"**** the country's largest newspapers, and **** the ******* tv news networks! ****'em all! I bury those cock-a-roaches! What'd they ever do for us?"
What I'm trying to say is: we've got to get the message out. Bypass 'em, just like Ronald Reagan did--and that was back in a day when the "Big 3" networks had TWICE OR THREE TIMES the audience they have now. :)
The amazing thing is they don't even really try to hide it anymore, and sadly not enough people are crying foul.
The ignorance of the DUmmies and similar lefties about this operation is staggering. Yet they all act like they are military experts.
