A quick take on a morning when I'm headed to Washington, DC.
Sometimes, you just can't win with the MSM. For weeks, the MSM has been calling for a White House shake-up. So when it came in spades yesterday with the resignation of chief of staff Andy . . . Card [spades, Card. Come on, tough room here!], naturally the media applauded the bold move.
Or not. Veteran NewsBusters readers know better. There is no appeasing the liberal media. They recalibrate their line of attack and move on. But who could have predicted the tack Matt Lauer would have taken in interviewing good-soldier Mary Matalin on this morning's Today show? Lauer suggested, of all things, that Card left . . . too soon!

Today Show/NewsBusters ping.
The Today Show is still on the air???
Yeah....kinda like the air around a dead skunk.
And what did Mary say to reply to these stupid assertions from patisan creeps?
The shake-up that the MSM and Democrats (one and the same) want is nothing less than a change in the oval office. Anything else doesn't actually count.
Too many in the MSM live in a fantasy world.
Was "rearranging the deck chairs" mentioned?
I heard that phrase yesterday from three different people. Do they not know that we are starting to listening for the phrase of the day?
If you saw the report on the French riots on Today, not once did they articulate the actual reason for the uprising...that they want guaranteed job security. The line was that they were protesting a law that "makes it easier for companies to fire young people."
It was a spin job. If you had no idea what the laws are regarding job security in France, it seemed like business and the French govt were uncaring and draconian.
Typical.
The liberal media simply echoed the dems repeated call for a change in his cabinet. Not satisfied with this change, Schumer & Co. are now demanding the change should be in Bush's policy. Wish someone would remind that clown that his party is NOT the majority.
So did Fred Barnes (MSM?)...........
It's all so silly.
There Matt goes again, spotlighting himself as Tweedle Dee, one of the most blatant liberal shill pundits on morning t.v., the other being Tweedle Dumb (Couric). At least fewer people have an appetite for Today's breakfast koolaide.
