I heard someone say on the news that this man had a fourth grade education. I don't know, however, if he meant that literally or if he was just being sarcastic because I didn't heard the entire segment.

No he has a 4th grade education equivalent due to Taliban schools. However he had on the job training (apprenticeship) so he can function as an adult in writing papers etc I assume.

While it is interesting to note... frankly, I don't care what his education is. He could be the leading Afghani scholar for all I care. The fact is that he will not apologize for his relationship with the Taliban.

If I were student at Yale and someone with a fourth grade education was carrying a 3.3 grade point average I would have very mixed feelings. Is my school that easy. Has grade creep risen to this extent. And lastly, is this guy going to beat me out of that job on Wall Street when I get out. Oh, or is he going to blow me up someday in one of the lecture halls!
