Nailed It! Moral Clarity BUMP ! This ping list is not author-specific for articles I'd like to share. Some for the perfect moral clarity, some for provocative thoughts; or simply interesting articles I'd hate to miss myself. (I don't have to agree with the author all 100% to feel the need to share an article.) I will try not to abuse the ping list and not to annoy you too much, but on some days there is more of the good stuff that is worthy of attention. You can see the list of articles I pinged to lately on my page. You are welcome in or out, just freepmail me (and note which PING list you are talking about). Besides this one, I keep 2 separate PING lists for my favorite authors Victor Davis Hanson and Orson Scott Card. |

Though a bit wordy, this article describes some very important and enlightening issues. The Muslim world would do well to become familiar with them and to deal with them if they ever want to be respected instead of mistrusted.

The time will come -- or perhaps has already come -- when Muslims in the West must choose: Stand up for freedom of religion and demand change in Muslim doctrine throughout the world on this exact point. Or else remain under the suspicion, which will grow in many minds into certainty, that all Muslims everywhere are merely biding their time till they can rule by force over the consciences of all. Very well said. We need more people, particularly amongst our representtives, to come to this realization. Maybe Card shjould consider running himself?
I also hope Orson Scott Card gets a chance to read my:
Dragon's Fury Series
All of this (and much more) is thoroughly vetted between those covers. If I knew how, I would send him one free to read and get his take on it. As it is, he, or anyone else, can download the adobe ebook version of all five volumes for free...HERE.

DID YOU KNOW? As you walk up the steps to the building which houses the U.S. Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building a row of the world's law givers and each one is facing one in the middle who is facing forward with a full frontal view . it is Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments!
.
DID YOU KNOW?
As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door.
DID YOU KNOW?
As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see the wall, right above where the Supreme Court judges sit, a display of the Ten Commandments!
DID YOU KNOW?
There are Bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington, D.C.
DID YOU KNOW?
James Madison, the fourth president, known as "The Father of Our Constitution" made the following statement:
"We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."
DID YOU KNOW?
Patrick Henry, that patriot and Founding Father of our country said:
"It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists but by Christians, not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ".
DID YOU KNOW?
Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher, whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer since 1777.
DID YOU KNOW?
Fifty-two of the 55 founders of the Constitution were members of the established orthodox churches in the colonies.
DID YOU KNOW?
Thomas Jefferson worried that the Courts would overstep their authority and instead of interpreting the law would begin making law . an oligarchy .
the rule of few over many.
DID YOU KNOW?
The very first Supreme Court Justice, John Jay, said:
"Americans should select and prefer Christians as their rulers."
How, then, have we gotten to the point that everything we have done for 220 years in this country is now suddenly wrong and unconstitutional?

Very nice piece. I generally like OSC. But this:
Many -- probably most -- Muslims who live as citizens in the United States no longer accept the idea that Islam gives anybody the right to kill anybody.
This is just an obligatory phrase that everyone should abandon, in my opinion. Many Muslims are madmen. Many Muslims are not. There's about 1 billion of 'em, so we can safely say many Muslims dig Paul Anka.
The whole "probably most are reasonable" trope is just a CYA so you don't piss 'em off. Say "Many Muslims are madmen" and leave it at that.

To paraphrase Lincoln, freedom of religion is not a suicide pact.He might have had Islam in mind when he said this.

"Because religion is absolutely not about mere outward compliance with the law. It is about belief -- it is about what a person believes in his heart."
Wrong.
Religion is the organized structure.
It is FAITH that is about what a person believes in his heart.
Islam is an organization structured SOLEY on the words of the false murdering pedophile Mohammad. He claimed that he had spoken to Gabriel. But what if the ancient tales are true, what if in actuality, he was speaking to Lucifer who falsely pretended to be Gabriel.
There are 6,666 verses in the Qua-ran.
Beware of false prophets...and his number will be 666.
Is this a coincidence or what?
I mean I never gave it much thought, but in the last few years it's getting harder and harder to accept Islam as being anything other than the Religion (organized structure) of the Anti-Christ.
True Evil, complete with the capital E. Over 1400 years in the making. They have conquered all who have stood in the way or, to avoid conflict, they accept a tribute from the lands of the Infidels.
What would happen if the US, the US that controls over half of the world's economy, were to with hold all financial programs of support from the Muslim world? Or another words, stop paying the tribute. I bet a true World War would be declared. I bet that the so called peaceful Islamics that live in this country would be activated: would riot and may murder Infidels.
Islam is a religion. But not a faith held in a loving heart.
It is an Evil and Hideous cult designed to wipe out all that is good, all that is light.
