These little guys are easy to fall in love with! I have a red and a black and tan smooth haired.
We had a basset when I was there...kind of an enlarged version of a mini dachsie!! LOL
Oh yeah, all hound. And bassets don't think they are much bigger than a daschund.
We have 2 45 pound dogs, male & female, and a 75 pound male. He is the biggest chicken.
Their personality is hard to beat.
Growing up we had daschunds. The house dog. Man, they had big egos. When they would go outside, they would keep the big dogs in line.
