Many residents in New York City are unhappy with the disposition of the killing of a white New York University student by four black youths who chased him into oncoming traffic resulting in the student's death.
First, the New York City Police Department refused to charges the four perpetrators with a bias crime. A spokesperson with the NYPD claimed the killing was not racially motivated even though one of the suspects was heard screaming "get the white boy!" The NYPD spokesperson said the case was being treated as a robbery, not a hate crime.
However, the prosecutor said the four street toughs would be charged as adults. The initial charges were second-degree murder and robbery.
However, Manhattan District Attorney Robert M. Morgenthau announced today that a New York County grand jury has completed hearing evidence in the case involving the four teenagers which resulted in the death of Broderick Hehman, the 20-year-old NYU student.

I don't care how "safe" New York City has gotten in the last 15 years. Anyone walking around in Harlem after dark ought to have his head examined.
If a Black is victimized in this way, it's a hate crime. If a homosexual is vicitimized in this way, it's a hate crime. If a White is victimized in this way, it's not a hate crime. We all need our political correctness guidebooks to refer to so we know how these events will be treated by the media and law enforcement.
This is such BS.........when are we going to make these political hacks accountable for this type of travesty of justice. What these PC freaks are doing is slowly but surely diminishing the value of what a "white person's" life is worth.......what is their ultimate goal here?

The student gave a dollar to a homeless person and the pack of dogs set upon him. He ran into the street to escape them and was hit by a car. They stood by laughing and made no attempt to call for help or ask anyone else to call for help.
Sounds like a pack of wild dogs.
Can we charge them with impersonating a human being?

Be quiet whitey, and get to work and pay those taxes. KNOW that you are now the slave. You are NOT entitled to any special grants, incentive programs. You will NOT be the first considered for any job, simply because you are more qualified. Your skin is white. That makes you responsible for all the problems in the world.
I'm sorry, but separate crimes for the same crime? Whee.. So someone doesn't like something. Where's the hate crime for economic status? Doesn't exist? Shows how valuable the whole concept is.
I'm hoping that some day the SCOTUS will slap this idiotic notion down.
