To paraphrase Mary Mcarthy on Lillian Hellman, every word said on 60 Minutes is a lie, including the ands and the the's.

"Brit Hume and Chris Wallace need to find someone with a bit more brain wattage that Juan to represent the left viewpoint. The things Juan says used to be merely outrageous, but today's idiocy was so over-the-top that it was ruinous of a serious debate."This Affirmative Action hire is untouchable.
CBS will never fire him despite his incompetance.
Do as I do.....Never Watch CBS!

I just saw Juan Williams say no oath of office or pledge of secrecy should be kept if a person dealing with classified or secret information doesn't like the policy of the administration or the department they work in - EVEN DURING WAR! That's as loony as any small town mayor deciding that any state or federal law that he doesn't like and considers unconstitutional isn't valid and he can do what he likes.

How in the hell is CBS able to air a story on 60 Minutes that comes to the defense of an event that only happened 48 hours ago? What planned segment did they drop in order to throw this together and air it so quickly? Go figure. No agenda here.

Juan Williams said something like that? Who woullda thunk such a comment of Juan?
Was that on 60 minutes also?
That would mean there were 2 of you watching.

I couldn't believe that either when I saw/heard Juan Williams this morinng. But, I appreciated the bitch-slapping he got from Brit and Bill Kristol. Even Mara and Chris were incredulous.
But, perhaps we could turn Juan's remards around and point it out as the way that liberals/democrats think in general. If we can make it stick, then perhaps the people/voters will see how dangerous it would be to turn over control of our military and security to the democrats.

All of those who work at CBS as a result of being selected instead of elected need to resign so we can get some new blood in there. Many have been there (in some kind of SeeBS office) for decade after decade. We want (new) blood! RESIGN NOW!

I heard some of this in the car and thought my head would explode.
How is it the liar's heads don't explode?

I would be more shocked if any of the drive-by leftstream alphabet medias ever did a positive story on Bush. My guess is, even after he leaves office and regardless of which party occupies the White House, we will be treated to years of Bush bashing (just as a reminder, of course).

My husband must be watching it as I type, because he's downstairs swearing at the television.

Could be that Juan is the best that can be found to repreresent an inherently illogical, faulty and anti-American viewpoint. He IS representative of many of the leftists I run across.

there are actually two topics in this thread.
The CBS, "60 minutes" CIA rant and tonight's "Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace", which is where Juan Williams displayed his bias and stupidity.

Do you know if that program comes on again? I want to tape it. I just told hubby what he said and (even for Juan) he doesn't believe he said it.....

Happens all the time.
Start out with one topic and end up with many.
Soon in this thread we'll be talking about taxes and pedophiles.

Dude, move on. The scumbags at See-B.S. hate us and the hate America, accept it and move on. I'm proud to say I stopped watching that show about 12 years ago. I couldn't take the weekly suck ups to clinochhio and the beast.
