Police shot and killed a burglary suspect Friday as he tried to flee in a car after a fight with a homeowner who had chased him after he invaded his home.
Less than four hours after the burglary attempt in the 8600 block of Toscana Lane, a man claiming to be the dead man's brother showed up at the shooting scene in the parking lot of the Sunset Breeze apartments in The Lakes neighborhood. There, he shouted obscenities at police while others tried to restrain him.
"You killed my (expletive) little brother. Why don't you shoot me? ... Why don't you kill us all?" the man shouted at a line of Las Vegas police officers while a woman screamed and then kneeled in anguish on the ground.

"Why don't you shoot me? ... Why don't you kill us all?"
Well, okay - but remember you asked for it . . . .
Drama Queen.
Like the mob guys say, "don't do the crime if you can't do the time..."
Damn fool too.
I'm thinking Noogie from Miami Vice.
Grant him his wish!
If I were a cop at this scene I would be sorely tempted to fulfill this idiots wish.
He didn't read Tookie's book it seems.
A man in the apartment complex who witnessed the incident said police told the suspect to get out of his car "two or three times."
"They were swinging at his windows with clubs," said the eyewitness, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "He tried to back out and was intent of ramming the cops' car.
"They said, 'Put your hands up, stand up and get out of the car,' " the witness said.
Then, as the suspect's car suddenly backed up, police opened fire with their handguns, he said.
Well, if you get caught and refuse to stop and try to run over an police officer, you are to stupid to live.
I feel bad for the officer for having to put this piece of crap down
Ok, How many hours until the family files a lawsuit? They just won the lottery. Some reverend will stand up and tell us how the perp was an "honor student" and "planning on attending college." He wasn't really a criminal, he was just confused and a good kid.....
Reads like death by cop to me
and "he was just starting to turn his life around."
