Good morning.
I thought the Mexican-American War ended with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848. The people holding the sign must be products of the California public schools.
As to throwing out the heart of California, I was born here and have lived here longer than most of the marchers. I fly the Bear Flag with the Stars and Stripes. I AM the heart of California.
