Newspaper circulation fell 2.6 percent in the six-month period ending in March, according to data released Monday, as the industry continued to struggle with competition from other media outlets and the Internet.

An honest and complete report would have noted that the industry also continues to struggle with the truth. I give the Internet 1.5 points and The Truth (or rather the lack of it) 1.1 points. Just another few hundred thousand people deciding they have had enough.
