Clinton-appointed judge of course.

Quite a resume since the appointment. Blocked UN whistleblower from releasing documents pointing towards Kofi's guilt in the oil-for-food scandal, prevented the military from handing over a Jordanian-US terrorist captured making bombs in Iraq to the Iraqis, tossed out all the serious bribery charges against Clinton Agriculture Secretary Mike Espy.

Billy's boy.

When did this moron obtain a judicial seat?

Under Clinton, of course. 1994.

See post #21 for some of his other judicial wisdom.

A US District Court in Washington ruled on Monday that an action could go ahead under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which says US government officials must not stop any person carrying out their religious beliefs.

So, since these folks believe crashing airplanes full of people into buildings full of people is "carrying out their religious beliefs" we have no right to stop them from doing so?!

Almost every wacky decision you read about is from a clinton judge. Appeal this baby all the way.

The furry freak brothers here may hold UK passports but in what other sense are they "Britons"? When the average American hears someone described as a "Briton" he thinks of a chap in a striped suit and bowler carrying an umbrella, not some Arab named Rasul. What a load of bs.

"The "judge" is a pathetic moronic WEASEL. Why am I not surprised, he turns out to be a rabid Clintonista?"

Just another soldier in the Democratic War On the War On Terror.

And what do we do about school districts that refuse to let Christian children hand out candy canes at "Holiday" parties.

If your kids were muslim, not only could they pray in school, they'd have a special room and mats on which to do it.

I wouldn't get too worked up about it - these things are generally subject to appeal. I suspect this guy's record involves a lot of judgments that were reversed on appeal.

This is a turf war and the judge want to ensure his turf wins. (ie the WOT is a legal issue in his eyes not a military issue)

KEEP IN MIND THESE PRELIMINARY MOTIONS ARE VERY RARELY WON. THIS IS A MINOR LEGAL MANUVER.

I bet this judge has other legal affiliations. Look to ABA, ACLU, National Lawyers Guild, and other anti-american legal organizations.

..... in what sense are they "Britons"?

A good question indeed. Herewith follows a few exclamations. Far better than expletives, of course.

Cor, stone the bloomin' crows! Well,I never! Ere,' 'ooh are they kiddin! Britons? my bloomin' left foot! and so on.

Laughs galore.

This country is doomed. We defend the non-existent rights of those involved in the slaughter of our own citizens. This country doesen't deserve to win a war. It is time for those who wish to have some type of future to get the hell out of there. I'm thinking Alaska is a good place to go with its own oil reserves and a free thinking spirit.
