Bush stated, “The United States is not going to militarize the southern border.”

Has the job of defending the citizens within Iraq (both U.S. and Iraqi) become too much of a burden for our military services ? If that is indeed the case, perhaps we should just plainly admit that. Otherwise some might begin to wonder if the people living within Iraq have become a greater priority then the people living within the U.S. .

The entire border is out of control. Ted K started this mess in 1965 with the Immmigration Act. I would put landmines, claymores,concertina wire and lots of voltage on the fences we already have. Where no fence exists, I would have anti personnel mines,pits with punji stakes, and all signs would be in English. That would help the few who make it here assimilate. Sorry to be so hard, but; pull a May Day protest on me, and;I see red.
