The Hispanics that Bush gained the most in are ones in familes that have been in the US for generations, such as parts of Texas(such as San Antonio), New Mexico, and rural Colorado around Pueblo. In areas that have large numers of 1rs and 2nd generation immigrants, such as So Cal, the Denver area and even Dallas TX, Bush saw his percentage go down. To be blunt, y our views are not just wrong, but they are quite dangerous.

First time I've been told I have dangerous ideas. What is your source for the above? Do you also deny that the areas where GOP is most vulnerable this fall's house races are in areas of the East and Southwest while areas where GOP reelections are slam dunk (the South) is where anti-illegal immigration frenzy is highest.

The GOP districts in the SouthWest are in danger because the base may not turn out, not because of Hispanic anger, but because of conservative anger. In the Eastren districts the GOP is in trouble, its either because they are either heavily blue collar areas impacted by free trade, or they have become socially liberal suburban areas. Generally because of gerrymandering, the Hispanic percantage of GOP districts in the West are less than 20%.

As for anti illegal immigrant frenzy, even where I live ib Ohio, it is quite high, and where I used to live in California, the base is up in arms about it. If the GOP loses seats, it will be because they gave in to amnesty, and the base finally had enough and remained home.
