Haynes is one of the best people in the CA legislature. He speaks clearly and without the politically correct garbage we get from even many other Republican politicians. Thanks for sharing the article with us.

Well he implied in the article that he asked others to join him. He didn't say if any did. It appears to me he didn't get the publicity he wanted so he wrote the article to explain questions that never were asked.
Sorry but you editorial remarks is what brought me to the article. It appeared that he has paid a heavy price for his actions hence the "stones" remark. So far all I see is a guy that wrote an article bringing attention to his own actions. Sounds a bit self serving to me.
Dennis Hollingsworth, Jim Battin, John Benoit, Russ Bogh, Ray Haynes, Tom McClintock, Chuck Devore, all did not attend.

Well the article didn't say that did it? I made no snide remarks about the article. I made snide remarks about the editorial comments.
Hence my remark about doing your homework.

What is snide about that? He wrote an article telling the world of his own action. That's fine but as with any politician it is a self serving action.
