see, so you are used to arguing on the level of an 11 year old. That explains a lot.

It certainly does, doesn't it. And right now it seems the most appropriate way to deal with the current situation between you and I.

As I said, best of luck to you on the long, arduous road to being a grown up.

I, for one, will not feed the trolls.

Haynes is one of the best people in the CA legislature. He speaks clearly and without the politically correct garbage we get from even many other Republican politicians. Thanks for sharing the article with us.

Was there any other assembly, or senators to refrain from attending? Are they all just a bunch of lemmings. I fully expected Vincent Fox to declare himself president of Alta California. Send our governor packing, and we'd all be leaving our homes, because in Mexico, only Mexicans can own land at least in most of it.

"I see, so you are used to arguing on the level of an 11 year old. That explains a lot."

ya know you came on my thread and posted your lame remark before I even had a chance to post the entire piece; so the only one who needs to grow up is YOU!

If you had bothered to read the ENTIRE PIECE you would have known the answer to your "question." But you obviously weren't interested in information, debate and/or a dialogue.

I gave up on flame baiters like you years ago.
So don't waste my time.

Class dismissed!

Well he implied in the article that he asked others to join him. He didn't say if any did. It appears to me he didn't get the publicity he wanted so he wrote the article to explain questions that never were asked.

Sorry but you editorial remarks is what brought me to the article. It appeared that he has paid a heavy price for his actions hence the "stones" remark. So far all I see is a guy that wrote an article bringing attention to his own actions. Sounds a bit self serving to me.

Dennis Hollingsworth, Jim Battin, John Benoit, Russ Bogh, Ray Haynes, Tom McClintock, Chuck Devore, all did not attend.
Before you make snide, uninformed remarks do some homework.

Well the article didn't say that did it? I made no snide remarks about the article. I made snide remarks about the editorial comments.

Hence my remark about doing your homework.

"So far all I see is a guy that wrote an article bringing attention to his own actions. Sounds a bit self serving to me."

I would call that a snide, uninformed remark.

What is snide about that? He wrote an article telling the world of his own action. That's fine but as with any politician it is a self serving action.

Okay I will give you some leeway on the "snide" part, but I stick by uninformed. And, trying to argue a point while being uninformed about the subject is sheer stupidity in my opinion.

Well I may be uninformed because the article didn't mention his fellow boycotters. I wonder why?

that just makes this brave senator a real man with a backbone. I am amazed that such a thing happens in politics.

"One of the richest communities in the world can't even fix its own fence."

Now wait a minute here... This "fence" is NOT a "community fence," it is a national/federal fence and THE prime directive of a federal government is to secure it's national border, period!

Instead, we have a Repellican President and a Repellican controlled Senate who want to ignore the most representative branch of government most directly from THE PEOPLE, and you imply the local San Diego residents have some kind of "sickness?"

You've not only got a lot of nerve... You are entirely wrong!!!
