You can't be on both sides of the fence. You said it was peer pressure. Now you say it isn't. Make up your mind.

No threat was mentioned or implied on this thread.

Why don't you make your own thread titled

"Why I Boycotted President Fox" (I was threatened!)

Be sure to show the link with the treat in it.

I'm not the one who posited that it did. Why don't you ask him or her yourself?

I'm not in the habit of speaking for others.

No threat was mentioned or implied on this thread.

That is obvious. What is not so obvious is why, faced with no actual threat, it takes "stones" to boycott a speech.

"Throughout the last several years, he has encouraged his citizens to immigrate to this country illegally, and has, in many ways, benefited from that illegal immigration. When his citizens come to California, our taxpayers pick up their medical bills, pay for their education, food, clothing and housing. In return, these Mexican citizens usually take most of their earnings and send them back to Mexico. The relationship is all to Mexico's benefit, and not much help to California."

This is one guy that definitely gets it.

It's obvious you are not interested in the content of this thread, but seem to be obsessed with "stones".

Quite Freudian.

You might want to get help with that.

Oh they don't Lurker. They are fun to play with when I have a few extra moments to do so.

This particular one's only purpose here is to sow contention and think about a Politicians stones.

Sad

Here let me say it again.

I'll do it slowly, and highlight the word "content"

It's obvious you are not interested in the content of this thread, but seem to be obsessed with "stones".

Yes, I realize you only see the title, but the content is posted also.

We have already discussed stones, stones being in the title. Stones that belong to a male politician.

There, I hope that stops you from jonesing

Some presidents can't even say the word "illegal"--

Correct. Just "undocumented."

LOL Kid. Thanks. I see now that the article title just contained a bit of hyperbole. That's fine.

I didn't ask for that did I?

In life we quite frequently are blessed with that which we did not ask for and conversely we don't get many of the things we would most dearly like.

It's a conundrum which has bedeviled mankind from our earliest days on the planet. (Sorry you ID folks, it's just a figure of speech.)

Mature adults learn to deal with this and not repeatedly ask petulantly phrased questions over and over again even when it has become painfully obvious to all concerned that no answer will be forthcoming.

I frequently have to explain this fact of life to my 11 year old when he is behaving, well; much like you are now. He is learning to deal with it pretty well. Hopefully some day you will as well.

I bid you good fortune on the road to adulthood.

Regards,

L

I see, so you are used to arguing on the level of an 11 year old. That explains a lot.

No! Guys like this are part of the problem. I have been hearing people from San Diego piss and moan for years. Yet, for some reason, they were too timid to take this problem on and have waited for someone else to do it. One of the richest communities in the world can't even fix its own fence. This is a sickness. Intruders running through your back yard at night, what do you do? E.T. phone home.

"Guys like this are part of the problem?"
No guys like your governor's brother are.

Let us know when you move to CA.

Until then, we won't tell you how to deal with people floating on your shores so don't tell us how to deal with illegals crossing the Mexican border. Which you obviously don't know what you're talking about. Borders and illegals are the feds responsibility and because your governor's brother refuses to enforce the laws and secure the borders; the Minuteman Project was formed to help GWB do his job. BTW, we are in the process of building a fence AT OUR COST! A fence that GWB has failed to build!
