Don't have a problemm with Jeb Bush at all.
He has been one of the best governors in the country for ages.

After all, if Hitlery( with no political achievements whatsoever in her life) is running in 2008, why can't Jeb run in 2012 or 2016?

Being a good governor does not mean he will be a good President.

Jeb sided with enviromentalists when he agreed to no drilling off the shore of Florida.

Jeb sides with most Dims when it comes to the border: He likes open borders.

Two BIG strikes against Jeb.

Another globalist in Bush clothing??

If you aren't associated with Jeb, then you need to do a little research on the people that he associates with. For starters look at the agency heads that he has appointed. There is a lot of clinton type syndicate dirt swirling around him. His Corrections privatization guy resigned and accepted a plea bargain. His Corrections Secretary resigned amid swirling rumors of drug activity, embezzlement and intimidation. His head of law enforcement resigned amid swirling rumors associated with obstructing an investigation of the murder of a teen at a Boot Camp. His first Lt Governor resigned to become President of a University ( after lengthy rumors of discord with Jeb). One of his appointments to the Judicial Nominating Commission resigned another high level job amid swirling rumors of drugs, graft, intimidation and wild sexual harassment. This Judicial Nominating Commission member had a long history of legal and intimidation problems, but did not have a high school degree. There are other cases of Capital Security Guards being disciplined for reporting Gubernatorial trysts, and the highly touted efficiency czar resigning in frustration after 6 months.

I would like some explanation as to the actions of Florida's various executive agencies with regard to the dehydration death of Terri Schiavo. There were supposed to be investigations of Michael Schiavo's guardianship and care of her, but somehow those just fell by the wayside. Something smells.

Perhaps Jeb Bush is innocent of Terri's death, but before I would vote for him for dog catcher I'd want him to explain what happened and why.

That was exactly what they were saying about W in Texas. Sorry but I'm siding with Jesse. STAY OUT OF THE BUSHES!

Gov Bush really has been a great governor.

Also, I don't buy this current thinking about President GW Bush, that he is awful. Look at all these corruption trials we have had, of corporate executives, and the convictions. Do you really think Dem leaders would take on such a task? And, home ownership is at an all-time high in this country, something like 70%. No Child, like it or not, is forcing people in education to focus on closing the achievement gap. Since 9-11, there have been no successful terrorists plots in the US. And, this 1st/2nd term during GW's administration has been one of the turbulent times in modern history. Finally, eveyone loves Laura Bush. So, I don't know that GW is such a failure. I am thinking he is not.

Last but not least -- it is interesting that this newspaper article is citing Gov Bush's daughter, wife and mother as the prime reasons for his not running. I can respect that, but, it makes me wonder: why doesn't Hillary Clinton get more respect from her party since she would be the first female president in history if she was to win? It's like a re-do of what happened in 2002 in Florida, when Janet Reno was almost the candidate, and would have made history as the first female gov in FL if she had won, but -- the Dem leadership went bonkers and had to back Bill McWhatever. Now, the same thing again. The Dem bloggers are moving away from Hillary and want to back Gore who does not even want to run. I don't know what the Dem Party is thinking most of the time. They make no sense at all.

That's what they say about TEXAS Governor Bush. I don't know if I'm ready for a third one. The addition of his Hispanic wife doesn't please me much, either. Could be that familial loyalties and a blinder-view of what the illegal/Hispanic immigrant problem might be would cause him to act similarly to his brother on illegal immigration.
