ROCKVILLE -- A Montgomery County jury this afternoon found sniper mastermind John Allen Muhammad guilty of shooting and killing six people in the county during the 2002 sniper shootings. Muhammad is not eligible for the death penalty in this trial, which is his second. In 2003, a Virginia Beach jury sentenced him to death for planning and coordinating the sniper spree. Authorities said they brought Muhammad to Montgomery County as insurance, in case his first conviction is overturned on appeal, and because the sniper shootings began and ended here. Muhammad, 45, and his convicted accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, shot 13 people over three weeks in October, 2002, killing 10 and wounding three.

He's already been sentenced to death in VA. VA should not have extradited him until the sentence was carried out!
D'oh! I thought they were talking about finding The Prophet guilty.
I love the headline! lol!
In a way, they are.
It's at times like this I sometimes we were as barbaric as the Islamic fanatics - take the bastard out and whip him mercilessly, and let him suffer in agony.
"A travesty. The shooters were two Hispanic men in a white box van, I tell ya."
Correction to myself:
It's at times like this I sometimes(wish)we were as barbaric as the Islamic fanatics - take the bastard out and whip him mercilessly, and let him suffer in agony.
Many were. Islam still is. Therein lies the difference.
Good ole Chief Moose. I wonder what he's up to these days?
The chief always looked like he was smelling some bad cheese.
I posted to you before your correction, but I guess we still understand each other. :)
Good! Now let him stew for awhile until Virginia finishes with him.
Chief Moose's bungling of the investigation extended the time it took to apprehend Mohammed and Malvo and this extension increased the number of vicitms they were able to attack. Last I heard he is still out on 495 looking for that white van!

Yes. My anger is that I lived in that area for about 11 years and it could have been one of my relatives or friends. If we hadn't moved, it could have been my wife or me that was killed.
George
I guarantee you that the Washington Times deliberately and gleefully put that headline up. Watch CAIR flood their offices with phone calls.
My brother and his wife live close by as well. I was scared to death for them while this was going on.
Until I found out that"the sniper"was shooting from inside the trunk of the car,I was puzzled by the lack of spent cartridge-cases!
