Is EVERYTHING about politics in D.C.? Jeez. Maybe nobody wants to worry about underwater WMDs since they would apparently be "safe" where they are. I still think much of the stockpiles went to Syria.

When will the Bushies realize they need a P.R. win? Badly.

I tried to post this earlier, but FR doesn't allow posts directly from the Northeast Intelligence Network. I don't know why.

Let's see, if WMDs are sitting about in Iraq and unguarded, and Terrorists are about, isn't that exactly the thing we were worried about when we went in? WMD falling into the wrong hands?

I don't get it, but then, there is a lot I don't get these days. I guess this article gets filed in that catch-all category:

"Important if true."

I wouldn't doubt it.

Considering Negroponte SAT on those Saddam docs for 3 years before letting some see the light of day. Even now that they are, they are still being ignored.

There just doesn't seem to be any interest in even going there. To much worry about 're-opening the wound' and risking new "Bush Lied" news cycle recapping all of it up until today.

We never did try to find out what all the convoys rushing into Syria were carrying. We have photos, and witness accounts, but never followed up.

What about the Russian limos that tried to flee to Syria when the invasion started... the ones that were important enough for us to take out before they crossed the border.

The whole Libya disclosure seems odd too IMO. I suspect a connection with Iraq's WMD programs.

Lots o' shenanigans going on...

Remember the retired, high ranking official from the Iraqi army who came forward about 6 months ago, claiming WMD was moved out of Iraq before the invasion? He was on Fox News Channel for about two days and then was never heard from again.

The MSM totally ignored this guy and his claims. Will Katie Couric interview him now on the CBS Evening News? How about that fat a--, Tim Russert?

Well, when I was at Tallil, we had several people come down with illnesses when they checked out a chemical site right at the airbase!

It would NOT have been very difficult to determine if that location had a WMD site. Our guys spent only a few hours in the complex, and they were messed up for hours.

We were at Tallil from 5/03 through 11/03.

I have come to the conclusion that our side does not want to find real WMD in Iraq. Our reactions to the discoveries that have already occurred have been to hush them up- just not talk about them. That would gibe with our efforts to trash the morale of the troops by these public investigations of "atrocities." Such things, if suspected are properly handled by pulling the troops suspected to rear areas for the duration and any judicial measures to be taken after the end of hostilities.

WTF!

Gaubatz: My sources confirm much of the information that is stated by the individual who claims to be "General Al-Tikriti", but they are suspicious of anyone they can't see or can't hear in their natural voice. Arabic is such a distinctive language that native Arabic speakers can tell a lot about the person by the words, tone, and mannerisms displayed during the conversation. There is little doubt Saddam had WMDs and that the Russians were involved in hiding them and possibly also removing them.

I feel Mr. Loftus, Mr. Mauro, myself, and many others realize WMDs were/are in Iraq, but to convince others is difficult. This silhouette will not do it (again I am not a disbeliever). During the last two months I have had conversations with Congressman Curt Weldon, Congressman Pete Hoekstra, their staff, and even arranged to have three of the original Iraqi sources brought to the Congressmen's office for debriefings (ref:) This still hasn't resulted in suspected WMD sites from being searched in Iraq.

Based on my extensive conversations with the Congressmen and their staff, they are afraid that if they searched the suspected sites in Iraq that I identified, and the WMD has been removed by terrorists, it would destroy the upcoming elections for the Republican Party. If it was done three years ago (as I tried to get done), we would all know. Now politics is involved. We have a tough fight ahead.

WMDs still in Iraq?

Yep. And I've been saying that on here for a couple of years now.

I can't say much more than that. At least not until I'm gone from Iraq for good.

You really want this to come out about a month before the elections to have maximum impact.

This makes me think of something that I'm sure SOMEONE has SURELY thought of before.

Consider this: If the Left and the driveby-media is so quick to assume that Bush Lied about the existence of WMDs in Iraq to start a war for political/financial gain, ASK THEM THIS QUESTION:

GIVEN YOUR PREMISE THAT THERE WERE NO WMD IN IRAQ, ISN'T ALSO POSSIBLE THAT FOR REASONS OF WHATEVER...THAT BUSH CONCEALED THE DISCOVERY OF WMD IN IRAQ??????????

Thus: Since Bush is a LIAR, isns't it POSSIBLE that the fact Bush Lies could also be a matter of National Security??????????????????????????
