I've been to Britain before, and I must say: Without indian food, the island would lack any suitable eating estabilishments.

The British are good people, but the cuisine is lacking. OTOH, the indian food in Britan is some of the finest in the world.

I am 3/4 of a century old, born and bred right here in the U.S.A., and I recall being warned of White Slavery as a child. It doesn't take another country, and it's been going on since the beginning of time, but that doesn't make it acceptable in any way, shape or form! One can have a bit of fun this way: Strike up a conversation with a young lady, say, of college age whom you know. Ask her if she'd have sex with (point someone out) for $100. She'll probably say no. Then, ask her again and up the price to, oh, $5,000. She'll probably again say no. Keep going until she wavers and/or eventually says yes for the amount suggested.

Then, tell her she's a prostitute. She won't like that, but insist that she is. After she gives you a break between the steam blasts out of her ears -- tell her that it has already been established that she's a prostitute, the two of you are just arguing about the price.
