Here's the scam as I see it.

This guy has his mega-wealth. He figures he is now one of the coming global ruling elite.

He can buy that position permanently for himself and his heirs by crippling the free market economy and forcing voters in future elections to simply choose between socialist candidates. With the general population divided between the wage slaves living in fear of the constantly violent dependent class -- there will never be a challenge to the power held by himself or his peers.

His natural allies: Clintoons, Annan, Soros, and the like.

His natural enemies: you, me and our firearms.
